The AP reported on the new plan being considered by Florida’s Taxation and Budget Reform Commission. This new plan would cut taxes about 12% per year when fully implemented. Among the additional provisions is a 25% “super exemption” for all residential properties including second homes and rentals, but property owners would only get half – 12.5% – in the first year.
